Urban Chronicle

작가 노트

Urban Chronicle operates as a visual city symphony that documents the raw, unscripted reality of Seoul’s Euljiro and Sewoon Sangga workshop alleys. Rejecting traditional narrative structures, the video adopts the documentary gaze and metric montage of early avant-garde cinema. By relying on ambient foley sound design and rhythmic editing, the work captures the visceral friction between manual craftsmanship and heavy machinery. The result is an immersive, multi-sensory experience that translates the mechanical pulse and fragmented textures of the urban landscape into a purely cinematic language.
